Dr Lerong Lu is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Bristol. Prior to this position, he was a Teaching Fellow in Financial Law at the King’s College London. Lerong holds a PhD in Law and a Master of Laws (with Distinction) from the University of Leeds, and obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics degrees from the East China University of Political Science and Law. He is a qualified attorney-at-law in China. Lerong’s research interests lie broadly in international financial law and regulation, and he has published extensively in the area of shadow banking and fintech.
